I’m Caroline Tyson, a costume designer based in New York City and Washington, DC.

I enjoy working in all areas of performance; classics to new work, period to contemporary, and everything in between. As a designer and as an assistant/associate I have experience in opera, drama, musical theatre, and dance, and have worked extensively in both professional theatre and academia. I hold an MFA in costume design from the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale and a BA in theatre with a design and production focus from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I primarily live in NYC, but I also have housing in DC and am able to work as a local there as well.
